About Fortrum

Are you an analytical professional who enjoys working with complex financial data? Do you thrive on identifying discrepancies, solving challenging puzzles and collaborating with multiple stakeholders? Then the role of Reconciliation Specialist at Fortrum Conclusion could be the perfect fit.

At Fortrum, we specialise in Risk & Compliance, Due Diligence and Reconciliation services for the lending market. We help investors and financial institutions gain confidence in their portfolios by ensuring that financial data, transactions and reporting are accurate, complete and fully reconciled.

Your challenge

As a Reconciliation Specialist, you play a key role in validating the financial administration of structured finance transactions. You will work with data from multiple parties—including investors, lenders, servicers and SPVs—and determine whether their records reconcile correctly.

You don't just identify discrepancies; you investigate their root cause, work closely with the relevant stakeholders to resolve them and provide clear reporting on your findings. Your work directly contributes to the transparency and reliability of complex lending portfolios.

What will you do?

Your day-to-day work will involve:

  • Collecting, cleaning and, where needed, combining data from multiple parties;

  • Analysing whether the administrations of the different parties reconcile with one another;

  • Investigating discrepancies and following up with the relevant parties to resolve them;

  • Producing clear, accurate reporting on your findings.

Working at the intersection of data, finance and risk

This role combines analytical thinking with a strong understanding of financial processes. You'll work with large datasets, investigate complex financial flows and ensure that all parties involved have confidence in the integrity of their data.

Every assignment is different. You'll continuously switch between data analysis, stakeholder communication and problem solving, making this a varied and intellectually challenging role.
